Shotgun Life Publisher, Irwin Greenstein and friend Rick Cundiff head out to the Cordoba region of Argentina for high-volume dove hunting. In Part I of the series “Dove Hunting in Argentina Beretta Style,” they embark for two destinations that are affiliates of the Beretta Trident Program: the Sierra Brava Lodge followed by a hunt at Estancia Los Chañares. Irwin tries to buck conventional wisdom about using a sub-gauge in Argentina to reduce recoil fatigue. Instead, he packs two Beretta 12 gauges equipped with the company’s Kick-Off recoil-reduction system to see if they really work on extreme bird shooting. Check it out on Shotgun Life at http://www.shotgunlife.com

Be the first to check out the new beta version of Wingshooting Theater on Shotgun Life – the first online magazine dedicated to the best in wing and clays shooting. Wingshooting Theater is designed to show exciting videos of the most desirable destinations in the world.

Right now we’re starting out with 4 videos – 3 in Argentina plus Beretta Trident Program lodge, Highland Hills Ranch in Oregon, which is famous for their British driven pheasant hunts. In the coming weeks we’ll be launching a companion Facebook page for Wingshooting Theater where you can share your upland and waterfowl experiences with other enthusiasts. We have more videos on the way. In the mean time, we have great dove shooting videos from Sierra Brava Lodge and Estancia Los Chañares in Cordoba, Argentina, both Beretta Trident Program affiliates, and a duck-hunting video from SYC Sporting Adventures in Cordoba that features Tom Knapp, Colorado Buck, Bruce Scott and Marty Fischer.

In one place you can find information on the affiliate destinations that provide the best in wing shooting, clays shooting and big-game hunting around the world.

The Beretta Trident Program is the first and only system to rate shooting sports venues. Not an endorsement for purchase, “Tridents” are awarded for excellence – like Michelin® stars are for restaurants.

While emphasizing the outstanding hunting or shooting experience, the evaluation system recognizes and rates everything from the food on the table to the kennels for the dogs. A Beretta Trident venue represents the best of the best, with only 5% of destinations worldwide considered good enough to merit even one Trident.

Check it out now on Shotgun Life at http://tinyurl.com/7b6kzjf

Pikesville, Maryland – August 1, 2011 – SYC Sporting, a leading destination for high-volume wingshooting in Argentina, launched a video advertising campaign on Shotgun Life [...]

Pikesville, Maryland – August 1, 2011 – SYC Sporting, a leading destination for
high-volume wingshooting in Argentina, launched a video advertising campaign on
Shotgun Life that features shotgunning superstars, Tom Knapp and Colorado Buck.

SYC’s new campaign continues its momentum as a leading
wingshooting destination in Argentina by attracting greats such as Gil &
Vicki Ash, Anthony Matarese, Jr., Dez Young, Bruce Scott, Marty Fischer,
Elizabeth Lanier, Judy Rhodes, Bill Kempfer and other leaders in the shotgun
sports. SYC Sporting is located on the Internet at http://www.sycsporting.com/.

The SYC video advertising campaign leverages Shotgun Life’s
position as a technology leader in online publishing in the luxury shotgunning
segment. Shotgun Life is the first online magazine dedicated to the best in
wing and clays shooting. Between the online magazine and the Shotgun Life
e-letters that are read by some 600 affluent shooters daily, Shotgun Life reaches
approximately 1,000 people every day – perhaps the most widely read publication
of its kind. You can see Shotgun Life at http://www.shotgunlife.com/.

“SYC has been engaged in a high-touch marketing campaign by making
appearances at the top shotgun shows,” said Irwin Greenstein, Publisher of
Shotgun Life. “Their streaming video campaign is a case study that a successful
company in this industry must rely on multiple advertising platforms to expand
and maintain their success.”

“Many hunters have yet to realize that Argentina is not only
affordable in today’s economy, it is actually a true ‘value’ – world-class shooting,
lodging, food and wines,” said John Wiles, American Partner at SYC Sporting. “For
the shotgun shooter, it just doesn’t get any better than this.”

Video advertising is growing faster than all other online ad
formats, according to, eMarketer. The market research firm estimates online
video advertising revenues will grow in 2011 to 52.1% to $2.16 billion, up from
$1.42 billion last year, when the video ad market grew 39.6%.

About

SGL Media publishes Shotgun Life (http://www.shotgunlife.com/) the first
online magazine dedicated to the best in wing and clays shooting, which drew
440,000 visits in 2010.

Meet Jerry Sinkovec, veteran writer and avid traveler. We’re introducing his new column this month called Jerry Sinkovec’s Favorite Destinations, and he kicks it off with a visit to the incredible Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. For starters, you can go wingshooting year-round in the Dominican Republic, but add the spectacular clays shooting facility, beaches, tennis, golf and three-star restaurants and you’ve found a bit of heaven. We’re very pleased to have Jerry writing for Shotgun Life. See Jerry Sinkovec’s Favorite Destinations at http://www.shotgunlife.com.
