Gander Mountain Opens New Evansville Store on October 5
Evansville, Indiana, September 26, 2007 – Gander Mountain, the nation’s largest retail network of stores for hunting, fishing, camping, boats, marine, and outdoor lifestyle products and services, will celebrate the Grand Opening of its newest store at 5476 Indiana Street on October 5th.
The grand opening ceremonies will begin on October 5th at 8:00 A.M. with a public ribbon cutting ceremony and free giveaway items.
Four members of Gander Mountain’s elite Pro-Staff – including Michael Waddell, host of “Realtree Road Trips” and Gander Mountain’s “We Live Outdoors” television shows – will be on hand during the Grand Opening to share their outdoor expertise and experiences.
The 53,000 square foot Evansville store features innovative outdoor products including; firearms, equipment for hunting, fishing, and archery, a variety of apparel and footwear, camping equipment, and gifts. Fishing and power boats, ATVs, canoes, and kayaks will be displayed inside and outside the store.

The store offers a full range of services including: an on-site gunsmith, ATV service and repair, an archery lane and full-service archery shop, line winding, boat and motor service, and a staff of associates with a wealth of knowledge about the outdoor products they provide.
The Gander Mountain Lodge, a meeting room provided free of charge for meetings of local outdoor groups, will be the site of several special grand opening events. Through the course of each year, Gander Mountain provides educational courses for outdoor enthusiasts in the Lodge. The Company offers more hunter safety programs, through its Lodges, than any other source in the United States.
