ATA ANNOUNCES THE SPORTSMAN
CHANNEL AS PRESENTING SPONSOR OF
GREAT GIVEAWAY
The Archery Trade Association and The Sportsman Channel (TSC) came to an agreement that places TSC as the official production channel for the 2008 ATA Trade Show and the ATA Great Giveaway.
The Archery Trade Association and The Sportsman Channel are joining forces at the 2008 ATA Trade Show in Indianapolis, Indiana January 10-12. The partnership places The Sportsman Channel as the official production channel for the Show and its popular event, the ATA Great Giveaway.
The Great Giveaway, which debuted at the 2007 ATA Trade Show, is a fast-paced, fun-packed evening that begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Indianapolis Convention Center’s Sagamore Ballroom on Friday, Jan. 11. This year, The Sportsman Channel will be there to capture the excitement as over 100 prizes are raffled off in under two hours, including hunting trips with industry celebrities, thousands of dollars in cash and a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle trimmed out in Realtree® camo, valued at over $30,000. In all, participants will take home over $200,000 in cash and prizes. All proceeds help fund programs dedicated to growing archery and bowhunting worldwide.
Additionally, as the official production channel for the 2008 ATA Trade Show, TSC staff will film the buzz around the trade show floor, portions of the seminar series, and will interview archery industry dignitaries and personalities, including ATA CEO/president Jay McAninch.
McAninch commented, “With the footage from the Show and the Giveaway, our partnership with TSC will allow us to create several public service announcements and a DVD that will promote the ATA Trade Show. These will also help inform people nationwide about the great programs underway helping to grow and protect archery and bowhunting. These initiatives will provide opportunities for future generations to participate in archery and bowhunting, and are made possible because of the funds generated by the ATA Trade Show.”
