PRESS RELEASE

For Immediate Release

SALT LAKE CITY – Based on the current level of participation and interest, the underwriters at Lloyd’s of London do not plan to renew the insurance coverage backing the ATA’s Healthcare Plan. With only 19 companies and 32 total insured individuals – including the ATA staff – as of this writing, the program did not meet the necessary volume and critical mass needed under the current insurance arrangement.

Both the plan administrator and claims administrator will continue to provide services relating to eligible claims through March 31, 2009. You will receive an official notice of termination from Medical Benefits Administrators of MD, Inc. and Dayspring Management LLC.

I am sorry for any inconvenience and problems this may cause our members, said Jay McAninch, ATA CEO/President. Having to accept termination of this program is difficult as we know it has provided insurance protection for many when there weren’t other options available. Unfortunately and despite our best efforts, not enough companies in the ATA were willing to adopt the plan so the underwriters could no longer afford to support the small group of participants.

Termination Quick Facts

Coverage will cease for all participants as of March 31, 2009, at the latest;

For employers continuing until March 31, employees and dependents must

submit all claims incurred prior to the date of termination (March 31) prior to May 31, 2009;

Medical Benefits Administrators of MD, Inc. will continue to provide the

claims administration services until all outstanding claims obligations have been resolved;

We are working to find a company that can be available to work with

you, if you would like help in finding a new insurance plan.

If you have any problems or concerns as this program wraps up, please contact our Director of Member Services, Bob Ives, toll free at (866) 266-2776 ext 207.
