You are probably not alone if you ask, what is a second feed?

Networks are delivered to their distributors the satellite and cable companies, even your local broadcast stations, which provide television signals in your home by a satellite or fiber optic feed which the distributor takes and resends to your home.

It’s simple, we send the network to them and they turn around and send it to you.

Most television networks, and all adventure sports networks are single feed, they reach only satellite and cable homes, not the homes that receive broadcast. Except for Untamed Sports TV, outdoor and adventure networks don’t reach the tens of millions more than the satellite companies combined of all those homes which receive their television by broadcast.

Why is that important to you, the producer and your advertisers? Well, until now, broadcast stations haven’t carried outdoor and adventure networks. The stations and their audiences are hungry for the programming and the goods and services which you and your advertisers offer. Those viewers are in markets you want to reach.
