OUTDOOR TV

This week on “American Guardian Television,” Chad Adams is on assignment at High Caliber Training for the third episode in a three-part series on survival. In “Survive, Part III: Responders,” AGTV looks at the skill set and training required for first responders-the military, law enforcement and civilian professionals who save lives.

Instruction focuses on restoring breathing, stopping bleeding, treating for shock and evacuation from remote locations. For anyone who spends time outdoors, whether hunting, hiking, or paddling, this medical training can help make the difference in a survival situation.

Also this week, in the Gun Locker segment, Shooting Illustrated’s Adam Heggenstaller reviews the DPMS LR308 SASS, a multi-purpose .30-caliber AR-style rifle. And in Sheriff’s Tip, Jim Wilson breaks down the speed load for defensive revolvers.

Part of Outdoor Channel’s “Wednesday Night On The Range” lineup, “American Guardian Television” airs each Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The show repeats on various days and times throughout the week. For a complete listing, or to find out how you can receive Outdoor Channel, go to www.outdoorchannel.com.
