EVENTS

Palm trees, grass skirts, and a pig roast in Indiana? That’s what you will find at Harmonie State Park’s fourth annual weekend-long luau, July 24 – 26. Come celebrate the summer with Hawaiian-themed games, crafts, swimming, music and food.

Games begin at 9 a.m. on Friday at the nature center and run throughout the weekend. The highlight of the event, the pig roast dinner pool party begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Dinner will be served from 5 – 6:30 p.m. The pool opens for free swimming at 6 p.m. The luau wraps up Sunday morning with nature center activities.

Dinner tickets are $7 and may be purchased at the park office. Children age 3 and younger eat for free.

Both campers and day-use visitors are invited. Reserve your campsite by calling 1-866-6campIN (1-866-622-6746) or at www.camp.IN.gov.

Park entrance fees of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents and $7 per vehicle for non-residents will apply.
