New Ulm is a town of 13,000 located an hour southwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul and 90 miles from the Twin Cities airport. Nearby is Mankato, a city of 70,000, which includes a major University of Minnesota campus, six smaller colleges, and a wide array of manufacturing and production industries.
Kelly Kelly, ATA’s longtime manager of operations, will work from the membership and business office. Michelle Doerr, ATA’s director of archery and bowhunting programs, lives within a 30- minute drive of the office, and will provide backup support to administrative and business personnel.
The New Ulm office will be managed by the ATA’s director of finance and operations, and a search to fill that position is near completion. The office will also serve as headquarters for the ATA’s business manager and membership manager. The ATA uses a virtual private network to link five employees and several key contractors in Utah, Virginia, South Carolina, Minnesota, Colorado and Wisconsin. Cindy Brophy, ATA Trade Show manager, previously worked from the Salt Lake office, but now works full-time from her home office. She can be reached toll-free at (866) 266-2776. Her direct number is (801) 815-8251.
If you have questions concerning the office relocation, please contact Kelly Kelly toll-free at (866) 266-2776 or direct at (507) 233-8131. Kelly can be reached by e-mail at kellykelly@archerytrade.org.
