Local couple, Tim & Shirley Strickland’s TV show to broadcast nationally
Sportsman Channel is pleased to announce the celebrated duo and local Montrose couple of “Strickland’s Archery Adventures” will be available exclusively on Sportsman Channel beginning in the third quarter of 2010 during the network’s Friday Night Full Draw archery-only programming block. The television show began airing on Sportsman in 2008. “Strickland’s Archery Adventures” is currently shooting exclusive, new episodes that are slated to air beginning July 2010 on Friday nights at 8:30 p.m. EST on the 24/7 hunting, shooting, fishing network.
Hosted by Montrose-area outdoor veterans Tim and Shirley Strickland, “Strickland’s Archery Adventures” (formerly New Age Outdoors) combines traditional and modern archery hunting adventures with teaching techniques and instruction for an entertaining and educational television viewing experience. From once-in-a-lifetime hunts around the world to North American big game hunts, “Strickland’s Archery Adventures” seeks to put the true spirit of archery hunting and education on display.
“Sportsman is thrilled to be the exclusive home for Tim and Shirley’s unique adventure and educational archery program. The Stricklands are heavily involved with the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), a program Sportsman Channel also has a long-standing supportive relationship. Together, they’ll look for ways to continue their involvement with NASP, both on the show and in the community.
