On April 3, Massachusetts Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program will offer a full-day workshop on Turkey Hunting. The workshop will cover gun handling and ballistics; turkey calling and developing hunting strategies. Then on Monday, May 3 participants will be able to hunt turkeys with expert guides and mentors.
To participate in the hunt you must have a hunting license, shotgun and a turkey tag. Participation is limited, and you must have taken the turkey hunting seminar within the past three years.
The deadline to register is March 26.
