On the shot placement pics #2 & #4 (back and front) the turkeys are quartering away or toward. I would adjust shot placement in both cases to account for their angles - especially the frontal shot.

happy hunting, dv

When dealing with arrow spine, simple poundage adjustments (as little as 1-3 pounds) can have significant impact upon arrow flight and accuracy. If my broadhead is hitting left of my point of impact with a field point, turning the poundage up weakens the spine, and the point of impact moves to the right. If my broadheads are hitting to the right, turning the poundage down tends to make the arrow spine stiffer, and impact moves to the left. Hope this is useful. All the best, Lonnie

I really like the quality of your posts. Yours is one of the very few on Archery/Hunting that I find myself in almost total agreement with. All the best, Lonnie

That was a great story. I cannot remember a time that was any more exciting than seeing my son get his first deer. Glad to see you have had the same experience. We need the next generation EXCITED about hunting to keep our sport alive.
Merry Christmas, Lonnie

Some good tips there, especially the bow hunting ground blind, and practicing shooting your bow in extreme weather bow hunting clothing. I've heard of some nasty accidents, and seen some really poor shot because people didn't practice shooting in extreme weather clothing.
