A man and a woman claiming to be attacked by a grizzly bear in Denali National Park, unloaded nine shots from a .45 caliber handgun which resulted in the bear running off into the brush. After reporting the incident, officials located the dead bear a few yards into the brush from where it was shot.

According to Alaska Daily News, it is legal to carry a firearm in this part of Denali but illegal to discharge them.

Makes sense to me. It would be much better to have two dead people than one dead bear. As the sickos say, there are just too many people in world and this is a better way to get rid of a few more.
