Professional sports are riddled with drugs, alcohol, sex abuse, spousal abuse, gangsters and criminals and one idiot sports writer declares that Kansas City Chief’s football player Jovan Belcher, in the murder of his girlfriend and suicide, “if he didn’t possess/own a gun, he and Kassandra Perkins would both be alive today,”

While instances such as this one where a person decides to murder a girlfriend and mother of his child, brings out emotions, then why didn’t writer Jason Whitlock of Fox Sports begin screaming to ban football because of drug abuse? Isn’t it the sport of football that causes players to rape women, beat up their wives and become drug addicted fools? Using the same logic, can I say that if there wasn’t football or any other professional sport, there wouldn’t be all the drug abuse, sex abuse, rape and beating up girls?

It’s difficult to believe that one such stupid act of taking a life, is countered by another stupid act of acting so stupid.

And if that wasn’t enough, during Sunday Night Football, Bob Costas of NBC Sports promoted what Whitlock said during halftime. Sounds like Whitlock and Costas both need to get in line for some of those tattoos so they can be one of the gangstah bois! Keep it up Whitlock and Costas. You give sports an even worse name than they already have.

Dumb begets dumber.
