Leupold® Introduces New UltimateSlamTM Scopes for Muzzleloaders

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Designed for dependable performance in extreme environments, Leupold’s® new Golden Ring® UltimateSlamTM scopes feature a new reticle system to enhance accuracy for muzzleloader and shotgun hunters in search of big game.

UltimateSlam’s Sabot Ballistics ReticleTM (SA.B.R.TM) has precise hold points in 50-yard increments up to 300 yards. Pre-calculated markings on the magnification selector allows the reticle to remain accurate for two- and three-pellet muzzleloader loads, as well as most popular 12 and 20 gauge sabot slug loads. Additionally, the reticle has a range estimation feature allowing shooters to instantly tell if a whitetail is within 200 yards.

“Across North America, hunters demand rugged equipment that not only withstands the harshest conditions, but meets the unique needs and requirements of muzzleloader and shotgun hunting. The UltimateSlam is the perfect fit” commented Mike Slack, Leupold’s marketing communications manager. “The UltimateSlam scopes are specifically engineered to help sabot shooters take their shotgun and muzzleloaders’ performance to an entirely new level. With the SA.B.R., hunters can be more confident taking those longer shots.”

The scopes are available in 2-7x33mm and 3-9x40mm models. Both have one-inch maintubes available in either matte black or silver finish.

Filled with bone-dry nitrogen, the UltimateSlam scopes have ¼-MOA finger-click adjustments and are completely waterproof, shockproof and fog proof. The scopes also feature Leupold’s multicoat lens system for superior low-light performance.

All UltimateSlam scopes are backed by Leupold’s Full Lifetime Guarantee. For more information, or to locate a local Leupold dealer, call (800) LEUPOLD or visit
