The Western Hunting & Conservation Expo (WHCE) announces MidwayUSA as the Title Sponsor for the Expo through 2013. The WHCE will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, Feb. 3-6, 2011. The Expo had over 25,000 attendees in 2010 and is expected to top 30,000 at the fifth annual event in 2011.

MidwayUSA is recognized as an industry leader in shooting and hunting equipment. Owners Larry and Brenda Potterfield are renowned supporters of the Second Amendment and wildlife conservation. This partnership is an indication of how the WHCE is fast becoming the premier hunting conservation expo in the country attracting attendees and exhibitors from around the world. The Expo, a joint partnership between the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) and Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife (SFW), has the largest collection of State Big Game Auction tags ever assembled.

Miles Moretti, MDF President/CEO said, “The WHCE is excited to partner with a quality company like MidwayUSA. They’ll help us continue to put record dollars on the ground for wildlife.”

SFW President Byron Bateman noted “Midway’s commitment to the WHCE helps us to protect our hunting heritage and continue to enhance the quality wildlife/habitat throughout the West. This partnership also acknowledges that the WHCE is, after four short years, one of the premier hunting industry shows that is a must to attend.”

“The Mule Deer Foundation and Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife serve an important purpose in preserving wildlife and our hunting heritage,” said Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA. “We believe we can and we should support the MDF and SFW as they continue to fight for the future of hunting.”
