SPRINGFIELD, IL – Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Acting Director Sam Flood announced today that the 2007 Illinois fall trout fishing season opens on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 36 ponds and lakes throughout the state.

More than 70,000 trout are stocked by IDNR at the locations just prior to the opening of the fall trout season. Below you will find a list of release sites and contact info for those sites.
